Lunarian
This is the second race that is only permitted via the GM allowing it to be chosen, along with the Oni race (see previous page). Lunarians are the rarest race of the world after their mass extinction to on the Red Line. They are recognized by their white hair, tan skin, black wings, and a burning fire where the wings meet the back. Lunarians are said to have descended from the moon, hence the name. Not much is known about them, due to them having not being seen for a long time. Lunarians are stated to be the fundamentally strongest race due to their semi-invulnerability from the flame on their back. It is said that while the flame is roaring, they receive almost no physical damage.

Abilities
[1] Back Flame
As an reaction, you can gain resistance to all damage, but your movement speed becomes 0. This lasts until the end of your next turn. You can use this a number of times a day equal to your proficiency bonus.
[5] Soul Embers
At 5th level, your back flame blazes as you withstand blows. Once per long rest, you gain temp HP as a free action that isn’t able to be hit through with attacks that go through temp HP equal to half your regular HP. During the time your temp HP remains active, your speed is halved.
[7] Ancient Flame
At 7th level, you gain the ability to harness the fire on your back and within to attack. Fire dealing 3 of your hit die come out whenever you make an attack or unarmed strike on top of the damage already. The fire materializes in any shape you want, it just goes to a maximum of 30 feet past your range on the attack. If you choose to do this, you cannot use your other Lunarian features, as you burn out the flame on your back.
The same issues that come from creating an Oni apply to creating a Lunarian, that being that they shouldn’t just be chosen because they are stronger, and that there are so few Lunarians in the current story that it becomes an issue when creating a backstory for a PC. Unlike many Humans, Cyborgs, etc, the Lunarian race has a very distinctive look that is hardly strayed from, but that sometimes takes away from player freedom when creating one. Under as-of-yet unknown circumstances, lunarians have gone nearly extinct, with a single survivor of the tribe currently known. The World Government seemingly hunts lunarians around the world to this day, rewarding anyone with a handsome sum of 100,000,000 Berries for any tip-off about a lunarian’s whereabouts.
